Generate HTML calendars visitors can view, print and read with RSS reader. Organize your life and keep your company, school or church informed of upcoming events. This is ideal for students, coaches, and teachers to keep online schedules.
Pros: The Web Calendar Pad allows users to add an HTML calendar to his website. Participating members such as students of a class, members of a church are able to keep track of the updates in the schedule through syndication services like iCal or RSS. Illustrated monthly calendars formatted to look like a wall calendar or a desktop calendar can be published automatically to the website, saved to a file or printed. No need for the users to know any HTML at all.
Styles and templates can be chosen and further customized by the use of photos/images, backgrounds and fonts of one’s own choice. The built in FTP helper lets the user update the site with a single click of the mouse.
Several attachments are possible to be published such as files, icons, picture, day background and so on. Detailed notes can also be published along with the calendars. The calendars can have tabs, pop-ups, photo backgrounds, file attachments, and RSS and iCal event feeds. Tabbed view helps viewing of logically grouped information together under each tab. For example a teacher can announce not only class schedules but also assignments, explanatory notes, handouts etc for several classes he may be teaching. Even parents cam keep track of the assignments/home work as well as other developments happening on the academic schedules of their wards.
Unlike calendar services which are subscription based and members may have to tolerate ads used by the service provider. By contrast this is completely owned by the schedule maker and the end users need not go thorough these problems. The interface is simple, easy to use and learn.
Cons: Nothing adverse noticed.
Overall: A well designed and useful application that provides a useful service, this is of 4 star level.
